Kim Michele Skin Care, LLC has the right to refuse service to any Client for any reason.


Do NOT receive/use the following within 7-days of your upcoming treatment:

  • Botox or Fillers (you may receive these immediately following your treatment).

  • Depilatories, wax, epilate or sugar your face (shaving is okay).

  • Retinols and Glycolics.

If you arrive for your appointment and we need to cancel because you have received/used any of the above services/products, your appointment may be canceled and you will be charged for the service scheduled. If you have any questions, contact me 72-hours prior to your appointment to avoid any fees. Thank you.

Your Appointment is time reserved just for YOU

When you schedule with me, it's time I reserve just for you with the expectation that you will honor your appointment. I do everything in my power to ensure you do not miss your appointment or double book yourself by sending three (3) reminders.

Your appointment confirmation is emailed immediately after scheduling. Please take the time to read it in full. Your confirmation includes a copy of my Policies as well as specific information related to your appointment. If you have not received your confirmation within 30 minutes of scheduling, you do not have an appointment. In this case, please contact me immediately.

To help you keep track of your busy schedule, an appointment reminder will be sent via email and text 72 hours before your appointment. These reminders are sent by Schedulicity to help you avoid No Show or Late Cancellation Fees.

Again, please make sure to review your confirmation email thoroughly to ensure correct day and time and that you do not have any conflicts. If you do not see it in your Inbox, check your Spam or Junk folder.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments disrupt my schedule and prevent others from booking. Not reading my Cancellation Policies does not exempt you from related fees. Please take time to read through them prior to scheduling. Thank you.

Cancellation: I require 72-hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows time to fill your vacated space.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 72-hours in advance will be charged the cost of the service scheduled. 

No-Show: Failure to show at your scheduled appointment will result in a charge equal to the full service scheduled.

Open Line of Communication: I appreciate your understanding that unexpected situations can arise. If you find yourself in a position where you cannot meet the cancellation deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, I encourage you to reach out to me as soon as possible to discuss your situation. Sharing your reason for late cancellation is entirely your choice, and it can be helpful for me to understand the circumstances involved. In such cases, we can consider rescheduling your appointment without applying late cancellation fees, based on the specific context. This approach promotes mutual respect and understanding regarding our time commitments.

IMPORTANT!

It is always uncomfortable telling a client they will be charged for their Late Cancellation/Missed Appointments. I try to avoid this conversation by sending a Confirmation Email, Email Reminder, and Text Reminder (if you opt in for it) so that you can ensure you do not have a conflict. I appreciate your understanding that these Policies are necessary to protect my clients, business, and livelihood, and are therefore necessary. Maintaining a clear structure ensures that I can continue providing the quality of service you expect and deserve. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

To avoid unwanted charges, please double-check your schedule for any conflicts before scheduling. If you find you have a conflict, contact me immediately so we can adjust your appointment.

Cancelling due to Illness

As a sole practitioner, it is important for me to stay healthy.  If you or another person in your household has a contagious illness, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. This includes colds. Thank you.

To ensure that illness is not used as an excuse for last minute cancellations, you will be charged for your canceled appointment and have 30-days to rebook. If you do not return within 30-days, you will forfeit your appointment.

Your Schedulicity Rating Matters

If you have encountered issues while trying to book online, it is likely due to your rating being below 5 stars. This situation usually arises from prior reports of no-show appointments or late cancellations. As a solo practitioner, my business relies heavily on clients honoring their scheduled appointments or giving timely notice if they need to reschedule. Consequently, I only accept clients with a 5-star rating. Thank you for your understanding.

Your Unpredictable Schedule & Chronic Rescheduling

If your schedule tends to be unpredictable, please contact me before scheduling. We can collaborate to ensure your needs are met while also maintaining availability for others who depend on regular appointments. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Treatment Room and Guests

Guests (including well behaved children) are not permitted at any time. This is standard practice for service providers. Should you arrive with a guest/child, your treatment will be canceled and you will be charged 100% of your canceled service. This is because I not only lose your business for the time I reserved especially for you, I also lose the potential business of other Clients who could have scheduled and your appointment time goes unfilled leaving me with lost revenue and an empty 2-hour window. Besides, this is time you reserved for yourself to relax and be pampered..don’t you want to make the most of it?

If it is necessary for you to bring a companion to assist you due to medical needs, I ask that you advise me of this prior to your appointment where we will discuss drop-off and pick-up.

If you have special needs, please contact me 24-hours in advance of your scheduled appointment so that I may make any necessary adjustments to ensure your comfort.  

If you would like to bring your pre-teen or teen for a clarifying treatment (blackheads, pimples, acne), please contact me and we will make arrangements that we’re both comfortable with.

I am committed to continuously expanding my services to ensure that along with my 21+ years of experience, I continue to bring you the latest and greatest in skin care services. Although I make every effort to keep my website and Schedulicity menu updated, prices, services, and products are subject to change at any time without notice.

Refunds

I do not offer refunds on services rendered or products.

Gift Certificates

As of June 2022, I am no longer offering Gift Certificates. If you would like to ‘gift’ someone a facial, please contact me for details on how to do so.

Provider and Client Relationship (Right to Refuse Service)

I have a passion for skin care and enjoy providing luxury skin care experiences which include expertly designed treatments specific for your skin care goals and needs.  Providing these services is a very personal, hands-on experience which is done with a lot of care. Just as a Client has the right to select a provider, I reserve the right to refuse service at any time, to anyone, without explanation.
